Our Story

Ten years ago, I participated in a drinking club called the Society of Forgotten Sports Achievements. It was just an excuse for different walks of life to gather and tell a tale of their moments of glory. This whiskey circle made me realize how much pride these folks had for their team, towns, and sport. That these people pour their hearts and souls into working toward something and, in the process, create a high school grandstand, beer league dugout, and whole town proud as hell. Though the teams and heroes have moved on, the pride is still there.

That’s why we started Small Town Ball, to hunt down these forgotten stories, and recreate the mythology for you.
